Basil Oven Baked Ribs

2 to 3 tablespoons
coconut oil
·
Lemon juice (from 1
large lemon or 2 small ones)
·
1 to 2 tablespoons
Lemon zest
·
2 tablespoons fresh
basil, minced
·
2 cloves of garlic,
minced
·
1 tablespoons salt
·
1 rack spare beef
(grass-fed) ribs, uncut
Instructions:
1.
Preheat oven to 275°.
2.
In a small bowl,
combine salt, garlic, basil, lemon juice and lemon zest. Mix well.
3.
Stir in coconut oil to
thicken paste.
4.
Put large sheet of
foil on baking sheet. Place rack of ribs on middle of foil and fold all sides
of foil upward.
5.
Slowly pour paste over
ribs, making sure to cover completely.
6.
Taking edges of foil together,
close and secure foil packet.
7.
Place foil packet (on
sheet tray) in oven and bake for 3 hours.
